Brian Rowan, MRCVS

Dr. Rowan, MRCVS has been a large animal practitioner since 2024, he joined Kiel Veterinary Clinic in February 2025.  

Originally from Illinois, he completed his undergraduate education at Southern Illinois University Carbondale in 2019. He continued his education in Scotland, at the University of Glasgow School of Veterinary Medicine and was awarded his BVMS and MRCVS in 2024. His professional interests include small ruminant medicine, bovine medicine, and herd health management. Dr. Rowan is particularly interested in reproductive medicine, and parasite control. Animal welfare is a primary value for Dr. Rowan.  

He enjoys working with the team at Kiel Veterinary Clinic and takes pride in being able to provide a high quality of care to his clients and patients.  

Outside of work, you can find Dr. Rowan enjoying the outdoors with his American Bulldog Rex, fishing, or hiking with his wife Maddie. They also have a cat, Minerva!
