Stefanie Rurik, DVM

Dr. Rurik completed her undergraduate studies at the University of North Texas and received her DVM from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2023. She started her career as a mixed animal practitioner at Boyd Veterinary Hospital in Boyd, TX before joining Kiel Veterinary Clinic as a small animal veterinarian in 2025. Her professional interests include internal medicine, ophthalmology and pathology. Dr. Rurik values clear communication and helping owners better understand their pet’s medical condition to provide outstanding care.

Away from the clinic, Dr. Rurik enjoys hiking, gardening, and cooking. In Texas, Dr. Rurik and her husband, Mason, were hobby beekeepers and hope to start back up their hives soon locally. Their corgi, Boba, in typical corgi fashion, gets up to nonsense at every turn.
